Let’s preserve nature! The FIFA Fan Fest™ guests were made aware of the ecology in the Volgograd region

At the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™ all participants of the 1/4 Final have been defined! The most spectacular matches and struggles of the world strongest teams are ahead. We have enjoyed the matches: Sweden-Switzerland; Columbia-England.

On the 20th day of FIFA Fan Fest™ the guests were told of particularities of nature in the Volgograd region, and its major points of interest.

The hot southern region possesses its own “Dead sea”- the salted Elton lake. Lovers of exciting landscapes can visit Stolbitchi – a vertical stony shore of the Volga river with the height of 100 meters. The ones preferring underground journeys will be impressed by Olkhovskye chalky caves that had been manually carved by monks. A picturesque park “Volgo-Akhtubinskaya poyma” is famous for its unique flora and fauna; the park is visited by thousands of visitors.

The FIFA Fan Fest™ guests found confirmation that the Volgograd region is rich with amazing places created by nature itself.

20 days full of passion for the game, drive and an ocean of true emotions are behind. All this was experienced by the visitors of the FIFA Fan Fest™. This is where people felt real football unity which still covers the entire Venue on the Central Embankment. Thousands of people come here to support their favorite teams.

The festive mood on the Venue was created by driving musicians and the Volgograd Wind Band.

The national team of England was supported on the Central Embankment with a particular emphasis. The football players from the Foggy Albion conducted their first match in frames of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™ at the “Volgograd Arena” stadium.

The matches results:

Sweden 1 – 0 Switzerland;
Columbia 1 (3) – 1 (4) England.
